July 14, 2024EuroVelo 7 - Day 6 I'm fighting a cold... got less than an hour of sleep, rode as far as I could, 27.5 miles. We found a closer hotel and I was able to cancel our hotel 5 miles away for free; just couldn't pedal any further. Didn't take many pics, but basically beautiful forest lined bike paths. The hotel, the one 5 miles closer was amazing and only $105 for a full house with dishwasher, full kitchen, laundry, 3 beds. Ferienhaus nahe vom Weissen See It was also down the street from a nice grocery store so Dennis bought some steaks and potatoes and fried them up while I crashed out. Everything here closes at 6pm! There are some pics of the garbage disposal which I thought was interesting, it's a knob your turn to grind the food. We also got a chance to use the washing machine and hang dry our laundry. Slept 2 hours as soon as we got to the hotel, plus another straight 11 hours of sleep. Had the chills, sweats, and coughing up a lung. |
