July 19, 2024Day 11 - Dennis and I toured around Berlin, checked out the glass dome roof over the Reichstag, it's made of glass so the citizens can keep a watchful eye over their lawmakers. It's symbolic because Hitler rose to power by granting himself power after the Reichstag building (basically their Congress building) was burned down. We stopped by the Berlin Cathedral and a few other sites. This is where Dennis and I head out separate ways, I fly back to Copenhagen to meet up with my cousin Jen; Jen and I bike to Gothenburg Sweden; Dennis heads to London for work. The Microsoft outage didn't delay our flights too bad, Jen and I met around 1:30am in Copenhagen. |
