![]() My 2014 VW Touareg Executive TDI. With 406 lb*ft of torque and an 8 speed transmission, it's well setup for towing. It's rated to tow 7716 lbs, but with the coil sprung rear suspension, it sags quite a bit. |
![]() I measured the tongue weight of our trailer at 500 lbs, the rear sags 1.25" while the front raises 0.5". The VW manual states the tow hitch is not rated for weight distribution hitches, so this method of leveling is not allowed. I chose to swap the rear air suspension from a Porsche Cayenne 958 into my Touareg. |
